The Music City Maryland Association presents Foodie Fest on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 2:00pm-9:00 at The Vortex at CAA Park. Featuring The Dive Bombs, Stone Dust Riders, South Rolling, Good Men Doing Nothing and Paulie Boy Blues. General Admission tickets are $10 (no ticket fees) and will go on sale on January 10th. Plenty of delicious food from the local restaurants and food trucks at the event and beverages including adult beverages will be provided so grab a lawn chair and blanket and come celebrate the first 2025 event at The Vortex!
Children 12 and under are Free. Rain or Shine. No Outside Coolers. No pets allowed.
FOOD COMPETITION AND VIP PACKAGE:
There will be 4 categories
1. Wings
2. Ribs (Pork)
3. Chili
4. Brisket
5 cooking contestants for each of the 4 food categories at $20 per entrance fee per food item. Only two food entries MAX allowed per person. So please do not choose more than two food items. Contestants must prepare enough food samples for at least 70 people for each food item.
We will provide two large tents for the cooking contestants so pop up tents are not required. Please arrive to the event no later than three hours prior to your presentation times below on April 26th to allow enough time for set up. Power sources can be provided. Please bring a table for the food presentation. You are welcome to provide a team name and bring a banner for your team to the event.
There will be four judges for the contest plus the People’s Choice vote. Winner of each of the four categories receives a $400 cash prize.

General Admission Tickets are $10.

We are releasing only 60 VIP Passes for an additional $30 ($10 General Admission plus $30 VIP pass = $40 Total). The VIP Pass includes two drinks, access to VIP section that includes servers and private VIP bar, access to VIP front stage standing room section, sampling of adult beverages. **You must purchase the General Admission ticket prior to purchasing you VIP Pass!** Plus with the VIP Pass you can sample all the food from the contest and vote on the winners for each category as the “People’s Choice vote”.
